ABOUT

Originally from Sarnia Ontario, Eric moved to Toronto from Waterloo ON where he completed his Honours, Bachelor of Music degree in Orchestral Performance. Eric's first year in Toronto was spent at Humber College where he studied vibraphone with Mark Duggan, and drum set with Mark Kelso. Eric continued studying drumset with world renowned educator Jim Blackley and jazz piano with Greg Dedenus. Eric believes that professional development is a never ending quest and thus continues to study drum set with Steve Mancuso.  Some of Eric's musical highlights have included multiple European and Japanese tours, CBC Radio recording sessions, major festival performances, and professional theatre work. Aside from performance, Eric is a dedicated educator. He currently is the instructor of percussion at the Dixon Hall Music School and operates his own private studio.
